All dimensions are subject to a tolerance of + or -3/4" (2cm) in any given direction. We reserve the right to withdraw any item or to make changes to the specifications or prices without notice in the interest of improved quality and design, and we do not accept liability arising as a result of such changes.

Wood features sensuous highlights such as the grain, small knotholes and hairline cracks which instill the furniture with inherent uniqueness. A discrete finish matches the material used and guarantees the exceptional durability of the furniture. Our intention is to show a superb material at its best while promoting a functional approach to design.

Our wood is sealed with a clear lacquer, impermeable to water. This creates a durable surface although any spills should be wiped clean immediately. The surface is easy to maintain, there is no need to use polish, a damp cloth is best. A mild soap can be used if necessary. Avoid contact with hot objects.

Precise colors and tones of any woods, leather, and other natural materials seen in our showrooms cannot be guaranteed to be identical to merchandise delivered. This is inherent to the natural materials that we use to manufacture our products. Despite every effort to ensure a consistent reproduction of color throughout our web site and catalogue, we recommend that customers request samples, which are available at our stores or may be mailed to you.

Leather is soft and supple and easy to maintain. Wipe leather with a damp cloth and a mild soap. Avoid soaking the leather. Vacuum the chair or sofa from time to time. Products designed to feed the leather produce a sticky surface that attracts dust and dirt from continued use so we do not recommend them. Avoid excessive heat and if possible direct sunlight as these will dry the leather.

Microfibre Suede is a hard-wearing man-made fabric which maintains its shape and is water repellent. Remove dust regularly with a soft brush or by vacuuming. A damp cloth can be used. Restore pile once the fabric is dry by brushing gently. Wipe from the outside to the center of the stain. Absorb as much as possible with a clean light-colored cloth. If the stain is thick, such as jam, remove the worst of it with a spoon rather than a cloth. Always allow the fabric to dry before using again. Professional dry cleaning is advised for more engrained stains.

Wool is a natural fiber which has a number of excellent qualities and unique properties. Because the fibers of wool are elastic, they tolerate compression and stretching better than any other material. Wool will always naturally seek to regain its original shape, and therefore wool textiles are highly resistant to wear and will show few signs of creasing. Wool naturally repels dirt due to its unique structure of fibers and to the fact that it is not prone to static electricity. Wool is suitable for all climates due to the wool fibers adapting to the room temperature, having a cooling effect in warm rooms and a warming effect in cold rooms. Stains: Act quickly. Wipe from the outside to the center of the stain. Absorb as much as possible with a clean light-colored cloth. Shipping: We offer a complete delivery service to locations within 70 miles of our New York store. All deliveries take place during working hours from Monday through Friday. This service involves our reliable delivery team carrying the goods into your home, assembling and positioning them as well as disposing of the packaging.

Local delivery: Local delivery for our showroom is 8% of the invoiced amount.

Long distance delivery is 13% of the invoiced amount or determined by quote. There is a $250 minimum charge for all deliveries outside of Desiron's local delivery areas.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Lead Times: Our goal is to provide accurate lead-time information. Normal production for standard orders is 8-10 weeks. Normal production for custom orders is 10 . 12 weeks. Orders may not be canceled nor deposits refunded due to delivery outside normal production schedules.

Furniture Size: The customer is responsible for knowing that all elevators, stairwells, corridors and doorways of his/her house or apartment will permit normal delivery. We are not responsible for furniture that does not fit and will give no refunds if this occurs. Desiron will splice furniture free of charge at the point of sale. If the piece does not fit into the space Desiron will splice for a charge of $225- plus the cost of redelivery.

Varitions: Color, grain variations, and veining are natural characteristics of steel, wood, and leather and will differ from piece to piece. The natural qualities of your furniture may vary from the samples you saw.

Payment: Sales of less than $5000 must be paid in full at time of purchase. Sales greater than $5000 can be paid with a 50% deposit at time of order, with the remainder to be paid prior to delivery. We will notify you when your order is complete and available for delivery, at which time any balance will be charged to your credit card on file. Delivery cannot be scheduled without full payment.

Delivery: Local delivery fees are determined and charged at the point of sale. Long distance delivery fees must be determined by quote. Deliveries include 2 flights of walk-up. Charges apply to additional walk-ups.

Cancellation: Our furniture is made to order and not subject to changes or cancellation after 72 hours from time of purchase. Deposits are not refundable after this three-day period.

Custom Pieces: Fabrication on custom pieces does not begin until a final drawing has been signed.
