About
DESIRON was founded in 1997 by Frank Carfaro and his brother. The company is a continuation of a rich family tradition originating in Turin, Italy, where their great-grandfather was an ironsmith.
The business is continued by Frank Carfaro, President/Founder and head of design. The business is rooted in the classical training of Mid-Century furniture design and production. Clean lines marry with rich materials and the utmost attention to detail.
A long-revered resource for architects and interior designers, Desiron now offers its custom manufacturing directly to retail clients with markedly short lead times. The 30,000 square foot state of the art facility houses Metal, Wood and Upholstery Divisions under one roof, offering clients made-to-order furniture to their specifications.
DESIRON's pieces have long been a favorite of the Trade Magazines and have been featured this year in Vogue, Details, W, Elle Dér, New York Magazine, InStyleHome, on Queer Eye For Straight Guy, and in many other publications and programs around the world.
Additionally, the Darin Daybed was the exclusive piece of furniture in MOMA Queens and can also be found in hotels and restaurants around the world.
Desiron is exceptionally proud that all aspects of design and production are conducted in the USA.
Desiron is open to the public and trade seven days a week. For more information on Desiron please contact us by e-mail or by phone at 1-888-DESIRON.
